Makeup By J and her team of mobile Hair + Makeup artists specialise in Weddings, balls, corporate events, formals & special occasions.

The team at MAKEUP BY J use a range high quality of brands including Mac, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Chanel, RCMA, Stilla and Laura Mercier, which are well known for their quality to ensure your makeup lasts throughout the day and you remain camera ready. Using a range of false lashes, which are all cruelty-free including Model Rock, Ardell and Eve Lashes.
MAKEUP BY J is owned by Jacqueline. She is a qualified professional makeup artist & hairstylist based in Wellington, New Zealand. Trained in London at AOFM – Academy of Freelance Makeup with over 10 years experience.

We believe HAIR + MAKEUP should reflect your personal style, accentuating & highlighting your natural beauty making you feel confident & beautiful. Whether you want a fresh and natural look or a more glamorous Hollywood red carpet look, we will work closely with you to create something you will love.

We are based in Wellington and also travel throughout New Zealand & Fiji (August). If your wedding is outside of this month please don’t hesitate to contact me as I will always try and make it work for my clients.
