Brenda and Jared
Not everyone is lucky enough to find that one true love, what more those who find that one true love when they are still young. Beyond blessed, Brenda and Jared were the few lucky ones that were able to watch each other grow and spent the next ten years doing what they love. Travel and try new things. And because of this, they have formed a special bond that is strengthened by time. Now, they stepped onto another chapter of their lives with a simple yet beautiful rustic themed wedding in the scenic Markovina Vineyard Estate.
The date of their wedding was also exceptional. They were married 10 years later from the month they first met.
Brenda shared to My Kiwi Wedding, “We got married at Markovina Vineyard Estate, an exceptional venue and beautiful inside and out. We never intended on having a theme, however along the way the style that suited us most was rustic and simplistic. We had always planned to get married outside under a large tree, however, the weather didn’t play its part and our date was in the middle of a tropical cyclone. Markovina Vineyard Estate was so accommodating and after a phone call, the ceremony was moved inside.” She continued, “I would be lying if I didn’t feel disheartened because of the rain but I can’t speak more highly enough of our photographer Sa, of Sanele Chadwick Photography – he calmed my nerves and went on to produce beautiful photos.”
This simple yet beautiful rustic themed wedding reflected what Brenda and Jared wanted for their special day, a heartfelt wedding ceremony and being surrounded by their family and friends that matter most to them.
Brenda gladly shared a few tips about wedding planning, “1. Plan a day that you and your partner find perfect and are reflective of your personalities, 2. Always have a Plan B, 3. Don’t stress about a budget – prioritise what is most important to you and what you can live without 4. Don’t sweat the small stuff!, and lastly, Relax, and enjoy!
